A short history
The exact founding date is unknown. The shrine records an early reconstruction and says the main shrine moved to its present location in 1055 after flooding. Relationship worship is associated with Yui no Yashiro.
Before you go
Expect stone steps and walking between separate sites. The main shrine’s hours do not guarantee access to every site late in the day. Relationship prayers are a tradition, not a promised outcome.
