Compare the visit scope, transport notes and prayer traditions of the shrines currently listed here. This is a selected guide, not a complete regional directory.
Compare Shirahige’s lake torii, Hiyoshi’s National Treasure sanctuaries and Taga’s longevity and relationship traditions. They lie in different parts of Shiga: the western lakeshore, Sakamoto in Otsu and Taga to the east. Check transport before combining them, and do not cross the highway at Shirahige.
