Compare Nikko Toshogu’s decorated architecture with the mountain-worship traditions of the neighbouring Futarasan main shrine. Toshogu’s paid visit and Futarasan’s ordinary worship have different fees and time commitments; the Shinen garden is optional and paid separately. Rinnoji, Shinkyo Bridge and transport need additional time.
