Izasawake no Mikoto, with six other kami

A short history

The shrine enshrines seven kami, headed by Izasawake no Mikoto. Its great torii dates to 1645 and is an Important Cultural Property. It survived the 1945 wartime destruction, while shrine buildings were subsequently rebuilt.

The great torii’s current designation is Important Cultural Property. Historical references to it as a National Treasure should not be confused with the present designation.
