Kibitsuhiko Shrine
吉備津彦神社
A compact stop close to Bizen-Ichinomiya Station, with a stone torii, ponds and aligned shrine halls. Choose it for a shorter precinct visit; do not confuse it with nearby Kibitsu Shrine.

Okibitsuhiko no Mikoto
A short history
The shrine preserves traditions about Okibitsuhiko; these do not establish a precise foundation year. The current main sanctuary was built in 1697 under the Okayama domain lord Ikeda Tsunamasa.
Before you go
Similar names do not make Kibitsu and Kibitsuhiko the same destination. If visiting both, plan the journey between them separately.
