Choose between the cedar-lined approach and historic sanctuaries at Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, and the hillside precinct of Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine. Arakura's famous pagoda viewpoint is farther uphill: compare the shrine visit separately from the climb and photo queues. Cloud cover can hide Mount Fuji at either destination.
